The team at Bristol Street Motors Keighley Vauxhall is celebrating after a colleague was named ‘Parts Manager of the Year.’

Mark Pickles, who has worked at the dealership for nearly 30 years, received the award at Vertu Motors’ annual CEO awards, held at the luxurious Kilworth Hall in Leicestershire, in recognition of his excellent performance over the last 12 months.

Vertu Motors plc, which owns and operates Bristol Street Motors, Farnell Land Rover, Vertu Volkswagen and Vertu Honda, honours talented managers from across the Group at its annual CEO Awards dinner, hosted by CEO Robert Forrester.

Robert Forrester, CEO of Vertu Motors plc said: “Mark has created and developed his team and his department into a well-oiled machine.

“Through his talent and determination Mark has developed the strategy for the parts department which has delivered phenomenal growth. The two words that sum up his performance are commitment and consistency. Bristol Street Motors Keighley Vauxhall Trade Parts is a bit like my beloved Burnley Football Club, they both punch way above their weight. Mark is the Sean Dyche of parts!”

Mark said: “There are so many managers that do a superb job in contributing to the daily operations of the Vertu Motors Group so it is an honour to have been recognised as ‘Parts Manager of the Year.’ However, the success that the department has seen over the past year has undoubtedly been a team effort, so I would like to dedicate this award to the Parts team at Bristol Street Motors Keighley Vauxhall.”
